Drupal Ubercart Video Tutorial 2 of 2: Selling File Downloads and Node Access

FAIL (the browser should render some flash content, not this).

This video shows how to use the file download module that comes with Ubercart and set up products on our site which have files associated with them.

In the second part of this Ubercart video tutorial, we install ACL, Content Access, and UC Node Access and configure these modules so that we can attach node access to products in our Ubercart store.

Hey, thanks for the tutorial.

Hey, thanks for the tutorial. Funny how you used Manitoba as that's where I'm at. The rest of the topics look good, I've bookmarked the site.

Two questions..
1 - you mention doing a redirect to the file downloads section, if you purchase a file. I can't figure that one out -- both where to put the redirect action, or what URL to use (the user-id token doesn't always work when linking to a url for "user/[user-id]/file-downloads".
It would be great to have a new BLOCK show up for users with file downloads, but I haven't seen that feature available anywhere.

2 - any idea on having files streamed rather than downloaded? We are selling some online courses, and it would nice to have them streamed, but the file download module forces the download. I've looked around, and others have requested this feature, but I didn't see anyone with a functional work-around.
