GMap and Location modules screencast

FAIL (the browser should render some flash content, not this).

This screencast covers the basic setup to create your own node locations map in Drupal with the help of the GMap and Location modules.

The GMap and Location modules, part of the geocoding module stack known as Mapadelic, is a great way to get started mapping content in geographic space.
Prior experience with Drupal 6 core will help you follow along with this lesson.

Hi Sean.
I have been trying to set up a map just like yours and have been using exactgly the module and module set-up that you have used in this screencast (brilliant, by the way).
my problem arises whwn I go to create a content type and I do not see the locative information setting and cannot therefore set this data up.
I had this same problem about a year ago and I fixed it then, but I cannot remember what I did!! (wish I'd made a note then)
I have been working at this for two days on and off now and would be very grateful if you have any clues on what I'm doing wrong.
I'm using drupal 6.13, gmap6.x.1.1-rcl and location6.x-3.1-rc1.
Regards and congratulations on a great set of tutorials,
John

Sean,

Thanks a bunch for the video. I'm fairly new to Drupal and have been playing around with the location module; your video filled in some blanks for me. I'll definitely be checking out your other videos. I can tell that the Drupal community is an awesome one, thanks for your generous contribution.

I have a quick question if I may; I don't see all of the available location fields in my content form regardless of what I check under the Display Settings of the Locative Information. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Thanks again,
Arthur
