When you edit the

When you edit the node.tpl.php file, gmap goes to every content type not just on the restaurant content type.

Did you ever get a fix for

Did you ever get a fix for this? To only show the user map location and not as a whole?

I did all this... tho my view

I did all this... tho my view shows the markers, the information bubble is blank! Any suggestions what am I doing wrong...?

Great video. Wonder if you could help. I have gmap module, location module up and running fine. But when I try to create a view, styled as gmap, the actual map never appears. If I view the source, it seems like it's not bringing in any of the required js files for gmap.

My default node map works fine, the map appears. Just not when I try to create a similar map with views. any ideas?

I had the same thing happen to my site until I changed the "Items to display" to "0" rather than "10" in my View.

Nice! That for the contribution. My trial worked exactly as described except the pop up overlays turn out empty. I can add a title and then it shows up but not the node title. I suspect it is a version problem / bug. drupal 6.15, uptodate cck and views, and gmap 6.x-1.0 / location 6.x-3.0... I'll try the release candidates... other ideas? Thanks! Dean
