Drupal Videos and Drupal Themes portal
Organic Groups Basics
On this podcast, Bob dives into the basics of the Organic Groups module.
Some people are confused about what OG is and how it can and should be used, so he'll talk about how to set it up, enable notifications, and theme the page so it's more exciting than the standard "river of news" that is enabled by default.

I have been struggling trying
I have been struggling trying to get blocks to connect into the group nodes, I was trying to use the Filter: Organic groups: OG: Posts in current group. After seeing that I just had to use the Arguments on my view it made my job a lot easier. Thanks a bunch, great video!

Thank you Bob, all of your
Thank you Bob, all of your vídeos are just great.
Somebody posted something not constructive about the way you speak "Maybe if you learnt to speak". Dont bother by that, you are a very inteligent guy, only inteligent people can follow up, the other ones whom cant grasp it get annoyed by their lack of brain and try to put people like you down.
Keep up with the great work.

This is a decent overview,
This is a decent overview, but I would be helpful if you showed how to find the pages you are using. For example, you went from creating the CCK types, to adding groups, without showing where to add groups.

I beg to disagree with the first post.
I am by no means an experienced developer, but I find that an enthusiastic delivery keeps my interest piqued. The screencasts which I find hard to follow are the monotonous drawly ones. Thanks for the time and effort you put in to making these.
P.S. The presence of a Neds Atomic Dustbin guitar in the background added to my viewing experience.
Maybe if you learnt to speak
Maybe if you learnt to speak at a more normal rate rather than like a speeded up chipmunk more people might be able to follow what it is you are talking about.
Obviously you know what you are doing and are very good at it but those of us who are learning are just left in a whirlwind and are none the wiser about what it is you've just spent all that time and effort trying to teach us.
Sorry, quite simply you go way too fast to tutor.
Maybe f you learned to think

Jono,
When you embedded the view
When you embedded the view code it looks like you went a clicked on something that auto-generated the embed code? What are you using to do that? Do you have a catalog of Drupal code snippets?
Yes. I have seen Bob do this
Yes. I have seen Bob do this quick copy-and-paste on other videos. It is code snippets he has saved. Most HTML editors allow you to create 'macros', which is a way to automate tasks you do repeatedly, such as insert that saved code.
I too am wondering this. Does
